Annalisa Winberg has sung with opera companies and symphonies around the world, including San Francisco Symphony, Opera Orchestra of New York, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Dallas Opera, Sarasota Opera, German National Opera of Weimar, Tyrol Festival in Austria, Wienerkammer Opera (Austria), National Theater of Guatemala and many others.
Her Cora in THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE with the Boston Lyric Opera was recorded for commercial release, and her Nedda in I PAGLIACCI with the New Israeli Opera was nationally televised. She was a soloist in the OUR COMMON FUTURE telecast from Avery Fisher Hall in New York, televised live in 60 countries. Her other roles include the title roles of TOSCA and MADAMA BUTTERFLY, Abigaile in NABUCCO, Senta in DER FLIEGENDE HOLLAENDER, Brunnhilde in SIEGFRIED, Helmwige in DIE WALKUERE, Anita in JOHNNY SPIELT AUF and many others.
She is a winner of the Zachary Competition in Los Angeles, the Ismaele Voltolini Competition in Mantova (Italy), the Cittta’ di Ercolano (Naples, Italy) competition and the Luciano Pavarotti/Opera Company of Philadelphia Competition.
Annalisa and her husband, Roy Stevens, have also had the opportunity to touch the lives of hundreds of thousands of young Americans through their renowned educational program, AmazingVox School Residencies.
Annalisa is also a long time professional voice teacher, Artistic Director for Opera Modesto and successful operatic stage director (recent productions: Rigoletto, Carmen, Madama Butterfly, Magic Flute, Dulcinea, Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Fallen Giant, Tell Tale Heart, Annabel, Cenerentola, Die Fledermaus).
